Full Moon Meditation is a practice very well known. Full moon is that phase of the moon when it is completely illuminated while seen from the Earth. During this time, the earth is right between the sun and the moon, with all three in a line. The Moon is said to be connected with spiritual practices. It is said that they are quite compelling and powerful in healing and streamlining the chakras. The moon is an integral part of our lives, its movements are tracked before we begin any auspicious task or celebrate any festival. It is said to be a symbol of rhythmic time. Buddhists believe that it is a symbol of self-reflection. Hence on Purnima or full moon day, meditation is considered to be extremely beneficial. Preferably under the moonlight is the best in helping rejuvenate our body.
